Almotriptan is approved to treat migraines in adolescents age 12 to 17 years of age. Talk with your healthcare provider about the benefits and risks of using almotriptan to treat migraines in children and teens.
 

Is Almotriptan Used for Off-Label Reasons?

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend almotriptan for treating something other than the condition(s) discussed above. This is called an "off-label" use. At this time, one off-label almotriptan use is the treatment of cluster headaches.
