Alsuma

Clinical Effects

Studies have shown that sumatriptan injection medications, including Alsuma, can relieve the pain of both migraines and cluster headaches. In one study, the sumatriptan injection was compared to a placebo injection (an injection that does not contain any active ingredients). After one hour, 70 percent of people who had used sumatriptan experienced migraine pain relief, compared to only 18 percent of people who had used the placebo. Similar results were seen for cluster headaches as well.
