Frova

Dosing Information

There is only one dose of Frova. However, your healthcare provider may recommend taking more than one dose (after waiting at least two hours) if your headache does not go away.

(Click Frova Dosage for more information.)

Frova Side Effects

As with any medicine, side effects are possible with Frova. However, not everyone who takes the drug will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate it well. The most common side effects include:

  • Dizziness
  • Fatigue
  • Headaches
  • Abnormal sensations, such as tingling, burning, or pricking (paresthesia)
  • Flushing (redness of the skin, especially of the face)
  • Dry mouth
  • Hot or cold sensations
  • Bone pain
  • Upset stomach or heartburn
  • Chest pain.
