Frovatriptan (Frova)
Frovatriptan succinate (Frova®) is a medication used to relieve migraine headaches. Although the drug will not help prevent migraines, it can help treat a migraine that has already started. It is not meant to be taken on a daily basis. Instead, it should be taken only when you have a migraine. This medication works by helping the blood vessels of the head return to their normal state after dilating during a migraine.
If you have any other medical conditions, including heart problems of any kind, let your healthcare provider know before taking this medication.
