Imitrex Use in Children

Imitrex has not been adequately studied in people less than 18 years of age. Talk with your healthcare provider about the benefits and risks of using Imitrex to treat migraines in children.
 

Off-Label Imitrex Uses

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend Imitrex for something other than the condition(s) discussed above. This is called an "off-label" use. At this time, one off-label Imitrex use (for Imitrex Nasal Spray and Imitrex Tablets) is the treatment of cluster headaches.
