Headache Home > Cambia Side Effects

A few common side effects of Cambia include nausea and dizziness. In most cases, these side effects are minor and are easily treated. However, make sure to notify your healthcare provider right away if you develop serious problems, such as chest pain, bloody vomit, or difficulty breathing.

An Introduction to Cambia Side Effects

As with any medicine, Cambia™ (diclofenac potassium) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the medication will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are easily treated by you or your healthcare provider.
(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with Cambia. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list of Cambia side effects with you.)

Common Side Effects of Cambia

Cambia has been thoroughly studied in clinical trials. In these studies, the side effects that occurred in a group of people taking Cambia were documented and then compared to the side effects that occurred in another group of people using a placebo (a similar product that does not contain any active ingredients). As a result, it was possible to see what side effects occurred, how often they appeared, and how they compared to the placebo.
In these studies, the most common side effects of Cambia (that occurred more frequently with Cambia than the placebo) included:
  • Nausea -- in up to 3 percent of people
  • Dizziness -- up to 2 percent.
