Headache Home > Migraines

Migraines are the second most common headache, with tension headaches being the most common. Migraine headaches are often brought on by certain triggers, such as stress, hormones, weather, and even specific foods. The exact causes are unknown; however, avoiding known triggers may help prevent these headaches from occurring.

There are several different types of migraines -- the two most common are migraines with aura and those without. Treatment may involve medications, lifestyle changes, and alternative therapies.
