Sumavel Drug Interactions

Several drugs can interact with Sumavel, including ergot medications, MAOIs, and triptans. Some of these interactions can increase your risk of dangerous side effects, including a group of symptoms called serotonin syndrome. These symptoms can include hallucinations, muscle spasms, and fever. To help avoid complications, make sure your healthcare provider has a complete list of all medicines you are taking.
