Zecuity Drug Interactions

If you are treating migraines with Zecuity, your healthcare provider will need to know about all medications, supplements, and vitamins you are taking. A number of products may cause drug interactions with Zecuity, such as certain antidepressants, ergot medications, and other triptans. These combinations can increase your risk for serious side effects like heart and blood vessel problems.

An Overview of Interactions With Zecuity

Zecuity™ (sumatriptan transdermal) may react with a number of other medications. Some of the medications that may lead to drug interactions with Zecuity include but are not limited to:
   
  • Ergot medications, such as:
    • Bromocriptine (Parlodel®)
    • Dihydroergotamine (Migranal®)
    • Ergonovine
    • Ergotamine (Cafergot®, Ergomar®)
    • Methylergonovine (Methergine®)
    • Pergolide (Permax®)
