Serious Side Effects

Some side effects of Zecuity are potentially serious and should be reported immediately to your healthcare provider. These include but are not limited to:
 
  • Signs of a heart attack, such as:
    • Chest pain, discomfort, or pressure
    • Pain or discomfort in your arms, back, neck, jaw, or abdomen (stomach)
    • Breaking out in a cold sweat
    • Shortness of breath
    • Nausea and vomiting
    • Lightheadedness
 
  • Pain, cramps, burning, numbness, tingling, weakness, or discomfort in your legs or feet
  • Sudden or severe abdominal (stomach) pain
  • Bloody diarrhea
  • Sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm, or leg
  • Sudden problems walking or speaking
  • Changes in vision, including partial or complete loss of vision
  • Seizures
  • A fast or abnormally beating heart
  • Severe or persistent skin irritation, such as:
    • Itching
    • Redness
    • Blisters
    • Peeling
    • Warmth or tenderness
 
  • Changes in color or sensation in your fingers or toes
  • Signs of a potentially dangerous condition known as serotonin syndrome, such as:
    • Confusion
    • Agitation
    • Seeing or hearing things that are not real (hallucinations)
    • A fast heartbeat
    • Changes in blood pressure, which could cause dizziness or fainting
    • Sweating or a high body temperature
    • Muscle spasms
    • Difficulty walking
    • Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea
 
  • Signs of an allergic reaction, such as:
    • An unexplained rash
    • Hives
    • Itching
    • Swelling of the mouth or throat
    • Wheezing
    • Difficulty breathing.
