Zomig Use in Children and Teens

Zomig is not approved for use in children and teens less than 18 years of age. One study of Zomig tablets for migraines in adolescents ages 12 to 17 showed that Zomig was not effective for this age group. Talk with your healthcare provider about the benefits and risks of using Zomig to treat migraines in children and teens.
 

Off-Label Zomig Uses

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend Zomig for something other than the condition(s) discussed above. This is called an "off-label" use. Among the current off-label Zomig uses is the treatment of cluster headaches.
